Bio:
Growing up in the UK I moved to the Swiss Alps in my early twenties. I worked alongside an artist and graphic designer who owned the café I worked in. The ability and flexibilty to create in this environment helped me to create a now inactive non-profit project. During this time I designed, built and ran an ecommerce site whilst designing merchandise for the online and pop-up shops. This enabled the realisation of coding, and how pairing structured well composed code with design can create satisfying user experiences
'Soft' Skills:
A dedicated and adventure-seeking individual, I'm driven by a passion for mountaineering, climbing, and running in the mountains. I thrive in challenging environments, excelling in running and ski mountaineering. Currently competing in the prestigious Skyrunning World Series, representing a UK-based nutrition company, Torq Fitness. I have delivered strong performances in high-altitude races, demonstrating resilience and mental toughness.
From 2017 to 2019, I created and managed a small non-profit called Gone For Milk. The project involved creating and maintaining an ecommerce site, building a social media presence, designing eco-conscious merchandise, managing suppliers, and marketing and selling the products. The profits were used to financially support plastic-free organisations around the world.

I'm competent in user experience design using the trinity of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to accompany React and other libraries. Utilizing API backends to support front end solutions.
I am able to utilize backend frameworks such as Django, and toolkits like Django Rest Framework to build custom API's, aiding the creation of applications which process and present data or information.
Through the use of agile methodologies I have been able to create user centered applications, with specific goals in mind, within specified timeframes. Reaching MVP's according to the goals set.
